David Hughes

David Hughes has developed an arsenal of techniques throughout the years, first the Chapman stick instrument consisting of 10 strings a blend of bass guitar, guitar, and cello effects which are very present in PTM. Also he has developed an extraordinary technique on the didgeridoo, Australian Aboriginal wind instrument which David has mastered throughout the years. Add to that a combination of both instruments played simultaneously You get a wonderful blend only PTM has to offer. David is a member of the Marc Vallée Trio which he had the great opportunity to perform at the prestigious Montreal Jazz Festival 2004. He recorded and performed with Mario Chénart, Louise Poirier, Cryptopsy, Claire Vézina, Bruno Pelletier, Glenn Moore, Paul McCandless, Oregon and Shower Team.

Réjean Julien

Réjean Julien has crafted throughout the years impressive and unique techniques, Mastering the Lap steel, and guitars, Réjean has performed on many productions, Also an accomplished sound engineer Réjean Julien is the backbone of PTM. You will be astonished, the magic created by this musician is unique, original and authentic to PHONETHEMENTAL Over the years Réjean performed with many artists such as: Dawn Eden, Eddie Cormier, Nathalie Rouleau, Marc Dion, Robert Boutin, Jean-Philippe Cyr, Éric Maheu, Philippe Brière, Louise Poirier, Claire Vezina, Mitsou, The Firedogs, Growing Dream, Les Haricots Magiques, David Parker, Suzanne Tardif, Oniro, Jim Corcoran, Washtub, Karine Lacoste, Bazirka and many others. From 1982 to 1990 Réjean was the lead singer and lead guitar of SHOWER TEAM.

Christian Paré

Christian developed an insatiable love for music at very early age, passion which brought him to study and discover various styles of music. Christian was not satisfied to learn only various rhythms, he was also interested by the history of music and the various cultures. His private training was conducted in California, Cuba, Japan and in South-América . Twice, he travelled to West Africa. With a diploma (Bachelor degree) in anthropology. Christian wanted to look further into his knowledge of musical studies and followed a master’s degree training in ethnomusicology at the University of Montreal. Besides, Christian is the artistic and general director of KABIR PERCUSSION, a world-beat band, for over 20 years now. Finally, as a clinician he offers percussion work-shops and private lessons. Christian shared his musical knowledge with Sarah McLachlan, Karen Young, André-Philippe Gagnon, Harvey Mandell, Sal Bernardi, Big « Moose » Walker, Karl Perazzo, Billy Johnson (SANTANA), Claire Pelletier, Richard Séguin, Richard Desjardins, Michel Rivard, Florent Vollant, Luce Dufault, Alain Lamontagne, Kashtin, Laurence Jalbert, France D`Amour, Julia Migenes, Bett.e & Steff, Daniel Bélanger, Tonight Show with Jay Leno « Alegria » Cirque du Soleil , le Solstice Rouge (SRC), le Gala des Masques(TVA), Steve Barakatt,.Rosheen, the Marc Vallée Trio and many others.
